Where is The Lair?

What are your opening hours?
Monday–Saturday: 10:00 am–10:00 pm. Sunday: 10:00 am–8:00 pm. Check our News page for temporary changes.
Are gaming tables free?
Yes, our gaming tables are free to use. Space can be limited on busy nights, so check table-booking options or contact us before travelling. A tournament or special event may have a separate entry fee.
Do I need a ticket?
Some busy sessions use free bookings to manage seats. Visit Book a Game and read the individual event details. A free seat booking does not mean all events are free.
When do Thursday bookings refresh?
The Thursday D&D and Magic booking systems refresh each Friday for the following Thursday. Check the date shown on the booking page before reserving a seat.
I have never played. Can I still come?
Yes. Start with our beginner guide and ask us which session would suit you. Confirm what equipment is needed rather than assuming a particular session supplies it.
Can children attend?
We offer activities for different age groups. Contact us about the specific session, suitable ages and supervision requirements before booking or visiting. Please do not assume a child can be dropped off.
Can you help with a quieter visit or additional needs?
Please contact us beforehand to discuss the session and what would help you feel comfortable. We aim to provide an inclusive and SEN-friendly space, and can explain the current quieter options.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Please do not bring outside food or drinks. The Cantina offers drinks and snacks. Ask staff about dietary requirements and available options.
How do I find the latest event changes?
Check Events and News before attending. Contact us if information differs between pages or you need to confirm a session.
Where can I check an online order?
If you ordered using an account, visit My Account. For other enquiries, email lizards.lair@outlook.com with your order number and the name used when ordering. Never send payment-card details.
What if I cannot find a product online?
Search the shop first, then contact us with the product name. We can check availability; please do not assume an item is in stock until confirmed.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is £2.95, with free delivery on orders over £50. Check the option and total at checkout.
When will my order be dispatched?
In-stock orders are dispatched within 24 hours. Dispatch time is separate from delivery time. Pre-orders are dispatched once released and available.
Can I collect my order?
Yes. Select collection when ordering. In-stock orders are available to collect from The Lair the next day; pre-orders are available once released and in stock. Bring your order confirmation or order number.
Can I return an online purchase?
For most goods bought online, notify us within 14 days after delivery if you wish to cancel. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
